The Dulles Town Center mall has recently added a variety of new tenants, bringing new family entertainment, dining and shopping, according to owner Srinivas Chavali.
Chavali told the Times-Mirror that multiple businesses have signed lease agreements in recent months.
Always in Motion, a new ninja and parkour gym, has leased a 20,000-square-foot space, he said.
Chavali said Always in Motion, owned by Rick and Joye Elsbury and Eli Miernik, will be an “exciting” space for kids and adults to train, compete and build strength. Regular classes, training, private events and parties will be available as well.
“This fits in well with the big picture for the mall,” Chavali said. “We’d like to make the Dulles Town Center as a family center bringing entertainment concepts and experiences.”
Another new tenant is Sky Zone, which has executed a 65,000-square-foot lease for 10 years, he said. Sky Zone is relocating from the Cascades Marketplace; the company has about 250 locations in the U.S.
He said the “flagship location” will be the largest in the U.S.
Circus comes to town Chavali is bringing the circus back to the mall this holiday season. The mall will host the Cirque de Paris, a European circus, from Dec. 9 to Jan. 5. This is the first time a circus will perform at the mall in more than 10 years, he said.
Another outdoor event, the amusement carnival, will return in the spring and fall of 2025, he said.
