The Burn - Work Underway on New Ninja, Parkour Centre at Dulles Town Center

Temporary signage has gone up on the exterior of a new parkour and ninja training facility in Loudoun — and work inside is just getting underway.
It was back in October that The Burn broke the news about Always in Motion Ninja & Parkour coming to the Dulles Town Center shopping mall in Sterling.
The 20,000 s.f. venue is taking over the two-level space that used to be the Sheffield Furniture store.
If you’ve been under a rock for the past few years, you would have missed the rise of ninja training as a fun physical activity pursued by both kids and adults. There are TV shows and international competitions focused on completing obstacle courses in a race against time and other athletes.
The Always in Motion website says the facility will offer “interactive movement and obstacle-based training, building a strong foundation for NINJA through integrated training techniques in parkour, tumbling, and climbing.”
Among the features at Always in Motion, there will be ninja rigs, balance areas, parkour areas, spring floors, a climbing area, and two party rooms.
No target date has been announced for an opening yet. But look for local ninjas to take to the equipment sometime in early 2025.
